The meeting, once a two month meeting, of Migrant Rights Promotion Working Group (MRPWG) was held at IRC Conference Room in Mae Sot from 9am to 4pm on March 3, 2014. MRPWG is a network for the migrant workers to enjoy their rightful benefits, to receive Medicare given by Thai government and to implement ASEAN standard education. Also, it was formed by many community base organizations like SAW,YCOWA,CPPCR,BWU,ALC,BLC incorporated with INGOs like IRC,IMO,FED,FFW,World Vision.

At the meeting, the participants have discussed a range of issues like operation plans, cooperation of regional authorities, coordinate effort occasional celebrations and activities, migrant worker’s policy for both regional level and central and the reassessment of previous policies. 23 members of NGOs and CBOs had attended to the meeting.
